Occasionally airlines change flight schedules and may even cancel flights entirely. These changes are beyond the agent’s control. In the event that such a situation occurs; Five Star Travel Group will do its very best to assist you with finding the best possible alternate option(s). If the flight time change is minor (4 hours or less) the airline will automatically make the change (airline policies/rules entitle them to legally do so). Five Star Travel Group will notify you of major changes brought to their attention. Please Note: there may be additional costs to re-book a new flight should the airline cancel or make a major change to your original flight itinerary. Five Star Travel Group is not responsible for any additional costs or fees imposed by the airlines. It is the responsibility of the passenger to check for last minute airline flight time changes within 24 hours of departure. Five Star Travel Group is not responsible for changes that may occur within 24 hours of original flight departure time. Pregnancy and infant policies will differ among airlines and cruise lines and each have their own restrictions on when pregnant women may fly or sail on their planes or ships, which can range from prohibiting flying or sailing. It is your responsibility to check the restrictions of your particular airline and cruise line. Infants must be a minimum of 6 months old on the sailing date for most voyages. For transatlantic, transpacific, Hawaii, Australia and South America sailings – and any with 3 or more consecutive days at sea – the minimum age is 12 months. If you are denied boarding, Five Star Travel Group will not be responsible for any resulting cancellation fees and charges. Travel Protection will not reimburse anyone for their travel expenses if they are denied boarding. A child travel consent form, often known as a letter of permission to travel as required by law, enables a minor child to travel without being accompanied by both parents or other legal guardians. A child can use it when traveling unaccompanied or with someone who is not the legal guardian, for example, a grandparent, teacher, coach, or family friend. A signed, notarized letter for a minor to travel from both parents is required if a child travels internationally alone or with an adult who is not their legal guardian. The other parent must also sign the consent form if they are traveling with just one parent. In either scenario, parents or guardians should provide child travel documents to prove their identity (such as a copy of their passport or photo I.D.) It is important to note that in the case of divorced parents, if a child is to leave the country with one parent, permission from the other parent is also required in most cases. It is the travelers responsibility to prepare accordingly and have the proper documentation. If you are denied boarding, Five Star Travel Group will not be responsible for any resulting cancellation fees and charges. Travel Protection will not reimburse anyone for their travel expenses if they are denied boarding.
